Territory Market Manager – Residential & Commercial Sales

Ludowici is wanting to hire a star performer to promote, develop and sell the entire company product offering in territory noted below in a manner to meet company defined sales and business goals. The position will service the entire territory and will assist in supporting bordering territories, sales reps and customers. Ludowici is an industry and world-wide leader in manufacturing and supplying architectural Terra Cotta building products including Terra Cotta Roof Tile, Terra Cotta rainscreen cladding, Terra Cotta wall tiles, Terra Cotta solar shades and floor tile.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Grow territory sales for architectural construction building products
  • Utilize Ludowici’s Factory of Ideas and its Dallas Showroom to assist in growing customer base and sales revenue
  • Coordinate and host events and presentations promoting company products
  • Approach and track record for all aspects of customer service
  • Promotion of all company products to architectural and interior design community through CEU lunch presentations, sales calls and trade show/seminar exhibitions
  • Develop architectural and interior design specifications based/designed around building products offered by company
  • Develop and build key relationships with accounts such as high-end home builders, architects, interior designers, installers, and contractors that can utilize company products on their projects
  • See all projects through entire budget, design, bid and construction phases
  • Locate and develop relationship/partnership with installation contractors capable of competitively installing company products
  • Develop architectural and interior design specifications with architects/designers based within territory who are designing local, out of territory and even international projects
  • Grow the territory/market by successfully developing and implementing strategic business sales plan
  • Create a local territory marketing plan/program for all products in conjunction with V.P of Business Development, National Market Manager and Marketing Manager – while staying within company budget plans
  • Ability to accurately report territory pipeline and assist in development of regular sales forecasts/budgets in conjunction with National Market Manager and/or VP of Business Development
  • Accurately and efficiently manage quote program, sample program and ordering of materials with customers and customer service team
  • Prepare budgets, quotes, proposals and all necessary order paperwork in order for customers to purchase materials
  • Learn all product price structures for company products in order to assist in quickly and accurately providing material budgets
  • Strong team player to all company employees

Experience Requirements

  • Degree in marketing and/or business preferred, degree in architecture or interior design
  • Ability to demonstrate strong relationships (currently in place) with substantial amount of the top territory architectural and interior design firms – this is a must
  • Five plus years of successful outside architectural product sales and promotion in the defined territory
  • Successful track record of increasing sales and business development – preferably in construction building materials
  • Self-motivated, self-sufficient and goal oriented
  • Develop plan to meet series of goals related to:  sales, presentations, sample requests, specifications, quotes and contractor/installation partners
  • Create and deliver very effective product presentations to individuals and groups

  • Midwest Territory – Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, and Southern Illinois
  • New England – Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont
  • Long Island Territory
  • Connecticut Territory
