Berwald Roofing has a history of quality workmanship and top-notch service of over 75 years. Founded in 1936 by E.R. Berwald, the company primarily installed shingles and siding. In 1950, the company was incorporated to accommodate growing business. A solid reputation and satisfied repeat customers represented the growth of its early years, and allowed Berwald to expand it’s services to include hot tar roofs, sheet metal flashing, slate and clay tile. In 1954, E.R. Berwald brought his two sons, Gene and Ken, into the business, who remain active in the company today.
