The mission of the Ludowici Community Foundation is to better serve the youth of Southeast Ohio by emphasizing physical fitness, environmental awareness, as well as civic responsibility. Our vision is to create a healthier and happier community through the power of nature, sport, family, and service.
We believe that regular exercise in nature will improve children’s physical and mental health. By installing our hiking trails and baseball fields, we hope to create a safe space for outdoor activity for the children in our community.
We are committed to establishing an educational program to be used local school districts to teach the appropriate age groups about Wooded Wetland and pond areas and other environmental issues.
LCF partnered with the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library to build educational strength and increase childhood literacy by providing high-quality books to children! Should Ludowici’s Community Foundation receive funding, we will be able to provide books to children in Perry County Age 0-5 years every single month. Help us ensure that all Ohio children can have the gift of literacy to succeed in school and beyond.
Each year the Ludowici Community Foundation hosts a Founder's Day event where we invite the community to join us in a day of outside fun. We open our splash pad, baseball & softball field additions, a pond for fishing and many running paths throughout the acreage. We have food, games, prizes, inflatables, and more! Come on out to our Community Park June 4th 2022 and take part in all the fun!
